When it comes to video games, few series had the appeal of Among Us when it launched. Online multiplayer brought together millions at the start of the pandemic, and Among us continued to develop in different ways. Now the game is heading to Japan with a special project, and it’s one fans won’t want to miss.
The update went live today thanks to H2 Interactive overseas. The Twitter page shared a teaser about one of the top manga magazines, and that’s where fans spotted an announcement about Among us. And after the preview went viral, Innersloth took to Twitter to confirm that a one-shot manga is on the way.

“Surprise,” Innersloth shared. “Among us will have manga feature 1 shot in Bessatsu Corocoro April 2022 magazine.”
At the moment, we don’t know much about the one-shot, but fans can’t wait to see how Among us made this change. At this time, there are no plans to continue the one-shot, but Corocoro has listed it in their next series. If the reception is good, others may come later, which will certainly delight game lovers. Among us has very loose lore, so the manga has plenty of room to solidify story beats. I would love nothing more than to learn the story of shape-shifting aliens and why they are bent on eating our crew members.
If you want to participate in this manga release, Bessatsu Corocoro will release the one-shot shortly, but it’s unclear if it will make its US debut. The magazine does not have a concurrent publication contract like Shueisha or Kodansha, but Among us is large enough to advance a translation! We can only cross our fingers for now and hope that this manga answers more questions than it raises.
