“The audience didn’t believe we were together. The media. It was an interesting thing to have so many people commenting on your sexuality or trying to decide for you what your sexuality was.

“A lot of people would say, ‘Okay, she’s a lesbian then. Why did she go to the Bachelor to compete for a man if she is gay? “And then the flip side was obviously I didn’t like women at all and just pretended to try to get attention.

At the time, Tiffany claimed media interest was one of the reasons for the split, writing on her blog, “The moment I paid the price for fame. Was it worth it? Probably not.’

Megan has since moved on – she started her romance with boyfriend Keith Newman earlier this year and called him “My Favorite Person” in a recent Instagram post.

Her new relationship came less than a month after her split from 34-year-old Jake Ellis.

Tiffany is believed to be single, after revealing her grief last year over a breakup with a man she identified only as “David”.
