Jujutsu Kaisen manga has exceeded 65 million copies in circulation, with the number including both physical and digital copies. The 19th volume of Gege Akutami’s manga is set to be released on April 4 in Japan. The cover of the new volume has been unveiled:
the Jujutsu Kaisen manga is currently serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga was launched on March 5, 2018 and currently has 179 chapters. Viz Media publishes the manga in English and 14 volumes are currently out, with the 15th released on April 5 and the 16th on June 21 this year.
The manga, which is one of the all-time bestsellers, received an anime adaptation by studio MAPPA in 2018. The first season had 24 episodes and ran from October 2021 to March 2022. The season 2 was announced in February this year, but no further information has been revealed since. Jujutsu Kaisen also has a prequel manga titled Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which also got an anime adaptation as a movie in December last year. The film was a hit in Japan and North America, where it grossed over $17 million in its opening weekend.
