The recently concluded Recoil of Lycoris the original anime is getting a manga spin-off published by Kadokawa which will be serialized on ComicWalker and Niconico Manga. The manga will debut in October.
Kanari Abewho previously took care of peaceful diary of high school fleet and Warlords of Sigrdrifa: No scramble spin-off manga, is the artist of the Recoil of Lycoris spin off. The manga will expand on LycoReco cafe and depict the ordinary life of heroines Chisato and Takina.
Additionally, it was announced that the anime will be getting a manga anthology in December. The manga adaptation, which is currently serialized in Weekly Comic Flapper, will go on sale the same month.
The Recoil of Lycoris the anime premiered on July 2 and ran for 13 episodes. The show is set in a Japan where teenage girls called Lycoris secretly keep the peace by preventing crimes before they start. Chisato and Takina are two such Lycoris, but they work at a branch that doubles as a legit cafe and a provider of services like language instruction. A spin-off light novel was released on September 9, while a manga adaptation began the same month.
The show team includes Shingo Adachi (Sword Art Online and WORK!! character designer) as director, Yuusuke Maruyama (Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon: The Second Act opening director and storyboarder) as assistant director, Kenji Sawada (Shikimori is not just a cutie lead co-host) as lead host, Yumiko Yamamoto (Sword Art Online Alicization Underworld War co-character designer) as sub-character designer, and Shuuhei Mutsuki (Three leaves, three colors) as a music composer. Pictures A-1 is the animation production company.
Meanwhile, the cast includes Chika Anzai like Chisato, Shion Wakayama like Takina, Friend Koshimizu like Mizuki Nakahara, Misaki Kuno like Kurumi, and Kousuke Sakaki like Mikhail.
