Well, anything Diamond can do, Penguin Random House can do too. Today they issued an apology to retailers, emailing the following;

We are aware that there was an outage on .Biz from 8:08 p.m. EST on January 17 to 7:00 a.m. EST on January 18 that had a direct impact on many of you who placed your FOC orders. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. The .Biz site is currently live and we are gathering more information about the issue. Please note that all confirmed carts were converted to orders last night without issue. For anyone who has not been able to place an FOC order or confirm their baskets during this outage period, we will update you throughout the day as more information becomes available. . – The direct sales team in the American market
